NHSCA Sports Network 'Guess the Placers' Contests

For the past few seasons, the PAC-10 wrestling website has been conducting prediction contests of post-season tournaments. This season, the NHSCA Sports Network is running the contests and plans to have contests for all regions. Currently, several contests are open and ready for fans submit their picks. Just click on the links below to get started. It’s fun and FREE! Check back here often for links to more regional contests…and then next week for the State Championship contests (with a prize for the winner of the AA contest and AAA contest).

Congratulations to Matt Yocco from Brandywine Heights on his 125th career fall.  This sets a new PIAA record. 

Yocco's fall at 0:55 over Anthony Lentini of Annville Cleona breaks the record held by Upper Perk's Mark Smith since 2002.  Not to be outdone, Matt's brothers Zane and Nick also score first period falls in the first round of the PIAA District 3 AA Tournament in Hershey.

Hamburg Area HS Dual Meet Tournament
Hamburg is starting a dual meet tournament next season and the following season (1/3/09 & 1/9/10).  Teams will be guaranteed five dual meets.  For more information, contact Hamburg's Athletic Director Aaron Menapace at 610-562-3861 ext. 753.
