Turner Tames The Tiger at The Classic

Braden Turner caught the tiger by the tail to become Southern Lehigh's first wrestler to capture gold at this prestiguse southern wrestling event known as the Tiger Holiday Classic. Braden came into the tournament as the 4th seeded wrestler. He caged the 1st seeded wrestler by a score of 5-4 in a very exciting match and the only match in which he was tested. He won his gold by trampling the 2nd seed in the finals by a tech fall score of 20-5.

Matt Rust was the only other wrestler to stand on the podium with his 4th place finish. Matt was not seeded in this tournament so he had to beat some very tough competition enroute to his medal. Matt majored one opponent who came in with a 32-2 record along his run.
